中华民族勤劳智慧，历史上曾经涌现出了无数的能工巧匠，为我们留下了丰富多彩的工艺珍品。其取材之广泛、品种之丰富、工艺之精美，令人叹为观止。
      本次展览参展的近百件文物，是从我馆数十年来所珍藏的古代工艺品中精选而出，以明清时期为主，分为金属、漆艺螺钿、丝绸缂丝、雕镂、文房、玉石杂件六个大的类别，基本上体现了我国古代工艺品制作的技术水平和艺术风貌。

Foreword

The Chinese history saw the rise of numerous skillful craftsmen, who has left behind a large number of works of arts and crafts. These works, featuring various materials, rich types and exquisite craftsmanship, were acclaimed as the peak of perfection in Chinese history.

The approximately 100 pieces of arts and crafts on display in this exhibition are selected from the works that have been accumulated for dozens of years. Most of them were made in the Ming and Qing dynasties, and categorized as metalwork, inlaid lacquer ware, silk textile, carvings, four treasures of the studio, and miscellaneous wares such as jade and stone, etc. These works clearly reflect Chinese ancient craftsmanship and aesthetic standards.
